Viagra, or sildenafil, is the generic name for the medication Viagra. It's a little blue pill that's available by prescription only. But in the US, the generic version is the same as the brand-name medication. In Europe, it's often available over the counter (OTC).
For a while, I was a part of a conversation around the differences between Viagra and its generic equivalent, Revatio. The main difference was pricing.
